Day 1 – Arrival in Munich

Arrival in Munich, Bavaria’s vibrant capital. Depending on your arrival time, enjoy a first stroll through the historic center, including Marienplatz, the impressive New Town Hall and the Frauenkirche. Explore the elegant streets and squares or relax in one of the city’s traditional Bavarian restaurants. Overnight in Munich.

Day 2 – Munich – Neuschwanstein – Rhine Falls – Zurich

Depart Munich and travel through beautiful Alpine scenery to Neuschwanstein Castle, the spectacular fairytale castle of King Ludwig II. Continue towards Switzerland and visit the impressive Rhine Falls, one of Europe’s most powerful waterfalls. Enjoy the spectacular views before continuing to Zurich, Switzerland’s largest city, beautifully situated on Lake Zurich. Overnight in Zurich.

Day 3 – Lucerne & Optional Mountain Experience

Enjoy a full-day excursion to picturesque Lucerne, beautifully located on Lake Lucerne. Discover the famous Chapel Bridge, Lion Monument, historic Old Town and attractive lakeside promenade. For an unforgettable Alpine experience, choose an optional excursion to Mount Pilatus, with spectacular panoramic views, or Mount Titlis, famous for its high-altitude mountain scenery, glacier experiences and impressive cable-car journey. Return to Zurich in the afternoon or evening. Overnight in Zurich.

Day 4 – Zurich – Interlaken – Bern

Depart Zurich and travel through magnificent Swiss landscapes to Interlaken, dramatically situated between Lake Thun and Lake Brienz. Enjoy views of the surrounding Bernese Alps before continuing to Bern, Switzerland’s charming capital. Explore the UNESCO-listed Old Town, medieval arcades, historic fountains and the famous Zytglogge clock tower. Bern combines a fascinating history with a relaxed atmosphere and beautiful views along the Aare River. Overnight in the Bern area.

Day 5 – Lake Geneva – Montreux – Zermatt

Continue towards Lake Geneva and discover the beautiful Swiss Riviera. Visit Montreux, famous for its elegant lakeside promenade, flower-filled waterfront and spectacular views across the lake to the Alps. Continue through the Valais region towards Zermatt, one of Switzerland’s most famous mountain resorts. The car-free village lies beneath the iconic Matterhorn and offers a wonderful Alpine atmosphere. Depending on weather conditions, enjoy panoramic mountain views before relaxing in the village. Overnight in Zermatt.

Day 6 – Zermatt – Lugano – Milan

Travel south through spectacular Alpine scenery towards Lugano, where Swiss and Italian influences meet. Enjoy time to explore the elegant city center and lakeside promenade, with its Mediterranean atmosphere and surrounding mountains. Continue across the border into Italy and arrive in Milan, Italy’s fashion and design capital. Discover the magnificent Duomo, the elegant Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II and the lively city center. Overnight in Milan.

Day 7 – Milan – Lake Garda – Sirmione – Verona

Continue east towards Lake Garda, Italy’s largest lake. Visit Sirmione, one of the most beautiful towns on the lake, situated on a picturesque peninsula. Explore its charming historic center and admire the medieval Scaliger Castle. Continue to Verona, the romantic city associated with Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet. Discover Piazza delle Erbe, Juliet’s Balcony and the impressive Roman Arena. Enjoy an evening stroll through the atmospheric historic center. Overnight in Verona.

Day 8 – Verona – Trento – Bolzano

Leave Verona and travel north through the scenic Adige Valley towards Trento, surrounded by vineyards and mountains. Explore the historic center and Piazza Duomo, with its impressive cathedral and colorful architecture. Continue to Bolzano, the gateway to the Dolomites. The city offers a fascinating blend of Italian and South Tyrolean traditions, reflected in its architecture, cuisine and atmosphere. Stroll beneath the historic arcades and enjoy the charming Alpine-Mediterranean character of the city. Overnight in Bolzano.

Day 9 – Bolzano – Seceda – Vipiteno – Innsbruck

Today brings spectacular Dolomite scenery. Travel to Seceda, famous for its dramatic mountain ridges and breathtaking panoramic views across the Dolomites. Continue north through South Tyrol to Vipiteno, a beautifully preserved historic town known for its colorful facades, charming streets and medieval atmosphere. Cross the Austrian border and continue to Innsbruck, the capital of Tyrol, surrounded by impressive Alpine peaks. Overnight in Innsbruck.

Day 10 – BEST OF INNSBRUCK: Sparkling Installations, Alpine Panorama & Tyrolean Traditions

Discover Innsbruck – THE CAPITAL OF THE ALPS - and its impressive combination of historic architecture and Alpine scenery. Visit Swarovski Crystal Worlds, a fascinating world of sparkling art, design and crystal installations. Later, take the cable car up to Nordkette with the “Top of Innsbruck” and enjoy breathtaking panoramic views over Innsbruck and the surrounding Tyrolean Alps. In the evening, experience the traditional Tyrolean Folk Show with the Gundolf Family featuring regional music, dancing and customs combined with a delicious local meal. Overnight in Innsbruck.

Day 11 – Innsbruck – Hall in Tirol – Gramai – Achensee – Munich

Begin the journey back to Munich with a stop in historic Hall in Tirol. Visit Burg Hasegg and its Coining Museum, discovering the fascinating history of coin production and the historic Hall mint. Continue to Gramai in the Alpenpark Karwendel for a delicious lunch surrounded by spectacular Alpine scenery. Afterwards, visit beautiful Lake Achensee and enjoy a relaxing lake cruise with magnificent mountain views. Continue to Munich through the scenic Alpine landscape. Overnight in Munich.

Day 12 – Departure from Munich

After breakfast, the journey comes to an end. Depending on your departure time, enjoy some final free time in Munich for sightseeing, shopping or a relaxed Bavarian breakfast. Afterwards, transfer to Munich Airport for your departure flight, taking home unforgettable memories of Bavaria, Switzerland, northern Italy, the Dolomites and the Austrian Tyrol.
