Day 1 – Arrival in Munich

Day 2 – Munich – Neuschwanstein – Innsbruck

Visit Swarovski Crystal Worlds, a fascinating world of sparkling art, design and crystal installations. Day 4 – Innsbruck – Salzburg
Travel east through the spectacular Austrian Alpine landscape towards Salzburg. Explore the historic Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and birthplace of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Highlights include Salzburg Cathedral, the Getreidegasse, Mozart’s birthplace and the impressive Hohensalzburg Fortress. Day 5 – Salzburg – Hallstatt – Villach – Udine – Venice

Continue south, crossing the Alps via Villach and entering Italy near Udine. Enjoy a scenic journey through the changing Alpine and Italian landscapes before arriving in Venice. Day 6 – Venice – Verona – Lake Garda – Sirmione – Milan
Leave Venice and travel west towards Verona, the romantic city of Romeo and Juliet. Continue to beautiful Lake Garda, Italy’s largest lake, and visit picturesque Sirmione on its narrow peninsula. Admire the charming historic center and impressive Scaliger Castle before continuing to Milan. Day 7 – Milan – Lugano – Lucerne
Travel north from Milan through spectacular Alpine scenery to Lugano in Italian-speaking Switzerland. Enjoy the Mediterranean atmosphere, elegant lakeside promenade and surrounding mountains before continuing across the Alps to Lucerne. After breakfast, enjoy some final free time in Zurich, depending on your departure schedule.
