Day 1 – Arrival in Amsterdam & Embarkation

Arrive in Amsterdam and embark on your Rhine River cruise. Depending on your arrival time, enjoy a first impression of this fascinating city, famous for its picturesque canals, elegant bridges and historic houses. Settle into your cabin and relax as the ship prepares to begin its journey south along the Rhine.

Day 2 – Arnhem

Arrive in Arnhem, a charming Dutch city surrounded by green landscapes and renowned for its World War II history. Enjoy time to explore the city centre, stroll through one of its beautiful parks or admire the scenery along the Rhine. Later, return to the ship and continue cruising towards Germany.

Day 3 – Cologne

Arrive in Cologne, one of Germany’s most historic cities. See the magnificent Cologne Cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and explore the atmospheric Old Town with its traditional breweries, lively squares and riverside promenade. Discover traces of the city’s Roman heritage before returning to the ship and continuing south along the Rhine.

Day 4 – Koblenz & Rüdesheim

Arrive in Koblenz, beautifully situated at the confluence of the Rhine and Moselle rivers. See the Deutsches Eck and enjoy views of Ehrenbreitstein Fortress. Continue through the spectacular Rhine Gorge, surrounded by vineyards, castles and dramatic cliffs. Arrive in Rüdesheim, a charming wine town famous for its vineyards, traditional taverns and lively Drosselgasse.

Day 5 – Mannheim, Speyer & Heidelberg Excursion

Continue to Mannheim, known for its impressive Baroque Palace and distinctive grid-patterned city centre. Visit historic Speyer, dominated by its magnificent Romanesque Imperial Cathedral. An excursion takes you to romantic Heidelberg, where you can explore the picturesque Old Town and admire Heidelberg Castle overlooking the Neckar River. Return to the ship and continue south.

Day 6 – Strasbourg & Breisach

Today combines two fascinating destinations. Explore Strasbourg, the elegant capital of Alsace, with its magnificent cathedral, picturesque Petite France district, canals and half-timbered houses. Continue to Breisach, beautifully situated on the Rhine among vineyards and rolling hills. Enjoy the charming town centre and scenic views across the river before returning to the ship.

Day 7 – Black Forest Excursion & Basel

Enjoy an excursion into the legendary Black Forest, famous for its dense woodland, picturesque villages, traditional cuckoo clocks and regional specialties. Discover the unique character of this beautiful German region before returning towards the Rhine. Continue to Basel, where the cruise reaches its final destination. Enjoy your last evening on board and prepare for disembarkation the following morning.

Day 8 – Basel – Rhine Falls – Neuschwanstein – Innsbruck

Disembark in Basel and begin your Alpine extension. Travel to the spectacular Rhine Falls, Europe’s largest waterfall by volume, and admire the powerful cascades. Continue through scenic landscapes to Bavaria and visit Neuschwanstein Castle, King Ludwig II’s famous fairytale castle. Afterwards, travel through the magnificent Alpine scenery to Innsbruck, the capital of Tyrol. Overnight in Innsbruck.

Day 9 – BEST OF INNSBRUCK: Sparkling Installations, Alpine Panorama & Tyrolean Traditions

Discover Innsbruck – THE CAPITAL OF THE ALPS - and its impressive combination of historic architecture and Alpine scenery. Visit Swarovski Crystal Worlds, a fascinating world of sparkling art, design and crystal installations. Later, take the cable car up to Nordkette with the “Top of Innsbruck” and enjoy breathtaking panoramic views over Innsbruck and the surrounding Tyrolean Alps. In the evening, experience the traditional Tyrolean Folk Show with the Gundolf Family featuring regional music, dancing and customs combined with a delicious local meal. Overnight in Innsbruck.

Day 10 – Innsbruck – Munich City Tour

Travel from Innsbruck to Munich, the vibrant capital of Bavaria. During a city tour, discover the historic Old Town, Marienplatz, the impressive Neues Rathaus and the Frauenkirche. Enjoy some free time to explore the pedestrian streets, browse the shops or experience Munich’s traditional Bavarian atmosphere in one of its famous cafés or beer gardens. Overnight in Munich.

Day 11 – Munich – Departure

Enjoy a final morning in Munich, depending on your departure time. Take a leisurely stroll through the historic centre, visit Marienplatz or enjoy a traditional Bavarian breakfast before transferring to Munich Airport. Your memorable journey from Amsterdam along the Rhine, through the Black Forest and into the spectacular Alps concludes today. Departure from Munich.
