Day 1 – Arrival in Milan

Arrive in Milan, Italy’s fashion and design capital. Depending on your arrival time, enjoy a first glimpse of the city center, perhaps visiting the impressive Piazza del Duomo and admiring the magnificent Gothic Cathedral. Milan also offers elegant shopping streets, historic architecture and a vibrant Italian atmosphere. Overnight in Milan.

Day 2 – Milan – Lake Garda – Sirmione – Verona

Begin with a city tour of Milan, including the spectacular Duomo, Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, La Scala and the historic center. Continue east towards Lake Garda, Italy’s largest lake. Stop in beautiful Sirmione, situated on a narrow peninsula, with its medieval castle, charming lanes and lakeside setting. Continue to Verona, the romantic city of Romeo and Juliet. Day 3 – Verona – Trento – Seceda/Dolomiti – Bolzano

Discover Verona during a morning city tour, including the Roman Arena, Piazza delle Erbe, Piazza dei Signori and Juliet’s famous balcony. Continue north through the impressive landscapes of Trentino, passing Trento and heading into the Dolomites. Visit the spectacular Seceda Mountain, renowned for its dramatic ridgelines and panoramic Alpine views. Continue to Bolzano, the gateway to the Dolomites, combining Italian and South Tyrolean traditions. Overnight in Bolzano.

Day 4 – Bolzano – Vipiteno – Innsbruck

Leave Bolzano and travel north through the South Tyrolean mountains towards Austria. Stop in Vipiteno, one of Italy’s most attractive Alpine towns, known for its colorful medieval center and distinctive Tower of the Twelve. Continue across the Brenner Pass into Tyrol and arrive in Innsbruck, the “Capital of the Alps.” Discover the historic center, the famous Golden Roof and the Bergisel Ski Jump. Visit Renaissance Ambras Castle, home to remarkable collections and often described as the world’s oldest museum. Overnight in Innsbruck.

Day 5 – BEST OF INNSBRUCK: Sparkling Installations, Alpine Panorama & Tyrolean Traditions

Discover Innsbruck – THE CAPITAL OF THE ALPS - and its impressive combination of historic architecture and Alpine scenery. Visit Swarovski Crystal Worlds, a fascinating world of sparkling art, design and crystal installations. Later, take the cable car up to Nordkette with the “Top of Innsbruck” and enjoy breathtaking panoramic views over Innsbruck and the surrounding Tyrolean Alps. In the evening, experience the traditional Tyrolean Folk Show with the Gundolf Family featuring regional music, dancing and customs combined with a delicious local meal. Overnight in Innsbruck.

Day 6 – Innsbruck – Neuschwanstein – Munich

Depart Innsbruck and travel through the scenic Alpine landscapes towards Bavaria. Visit the spectacular Neuschwanstein Castle, the fairy-tale palace built by King Ludwig II and one of Germany’s most famous landmarks. Continue to Munich, Bavaria’s lively capital. On arrival, enjoy an orientation tour featuring Marienplatz, the New Town Hall, Frauenkirche and the historic city center. The evening is free to experience Munich’s Bavarian atmosphere. Day 7 – Munich – Salzburg

Continue to Salzburg, the birthplace of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Upon arrival, enjoy a city tour through the UNESCO-listed historic center, seeing Mozart’s Birthplace, Mirabell Gardens, Salzburg Cathedral and the charming Getreidegasse. Day 8 – Salzburg – Hallstatt – Český Krumlov – Prague

Depart Salzburg for picturesque Hallstatt, one of Austria’s most enchanting lakeside villages. Enjoy time to explore its traditional houses and spectacular mountain setting. Continue via Linz into the Czech Republic and visit Český Krumlov, a beautifully preserved medieval town dominated by its castle and winding historic streets. Day 9 – Prague

Spend the full day discovering Prague, one of Europe’s most beautiful historic cities. Explore Prague Castle, St. Vitus Cathedral, the atmospheric Lesser Town and the famous Charles Bridge. Continue through the Old Town to Old Town Square and the Astronomical Clock. The city’s Gothic, Baroque and Art Nouveau architecture creates a remarkable backdrop throughout the day. Enjoy the evening at leisure to discover Prague’s restaurants, cafés or lively historic center. Overnight in Prague.

Day 10 – Prague – Brno – Vienna

Travel southeast through Moravia, with a stop in Brno, the Czech Republic’s second-largest city and an important historic center. Continue across the border into Austria and arrive in Vienna, the former imperial capital of the Habsburg Empire. In the afternoon, enjoy an introduction to the city center, including the magnificent Hofburg, St. Stephen’s Cathedral, the Ringstrasse and elegant historic squares. Overnight in Vienna.

Day 11 – Vienna – Bratislava – Budapest

Visit Schönbrunn Palace in the morning, the former imperial summer residence surrounded by magnificent gardens. Continue east towards Bratislava, Slovakia’s charming capital on the Danube, for a brief visit to its historic center. Continue to Budapest, Hungary’s spectacular capital. Arrive in the afternoon and enjoy a first impression of the city, perhaps along the Danube promenade with views of the illuminated Parliament and Buda Castle. Overnight in Budapest.

Day 12 – Budapest

Enjoy a full-day city tour of Budapest, exploring both sides of the Danube. Discover historic Buda with the Castle District, Matthias Church and Fisherman’s Bastion, offering wonderful views across the river. In Pest, see the impressive Parliament, St. Stephen’s Basilica, Heroes’ Square and the elegant Andrássy Avenue. Budapest’s thermal baths, cafés and grand architecture reflect the city’s fascinating imperial and Central European heritage. Overnight in Budapest.

Day 13 – Departure from Budapest

After breakfast, the tour concludes in Budapest. Depending on your departure time, enjoy some final free time for sightseeing, shopping or a relaxing coffee in one of the city’s traditional cafés. Transfer to Budapest Airport or continue with your onward journey, taking home memories of Italy’s lakes and cities, the Alps, Bavaria and the remarkable capitals of Central Europe.
